Gateway T2370 laptop is not a Gateway laptop model as you may think at first sight. The T2370 part refers to the processor that is used in the system of a Gateway laptop. Gateway Laptop Set Fan To Constant Speed

Gateway Laptop No Audio

Have you ever been so curious as to open up a laptop just to see what’s inside? When you remove the protective lid you can see a lot of small components that are interconnected and have their specific role in the functioning of the whole system.

And sometimes something happens and one piece of the complex puzzle stops functioning properly. And this has repercussions over the whole system, so the best thing to do is to immediately find the problem and fix it. Even if it seems unbelievable most of the problems and malfunctionings are caused by very simple and minor things. Let’s take for example the case when your Gateway laptop has no audio

Well, we all know that Gateway laptops have an audio card that is fixed on the motherboard and also incorporated speakers that you use when you want to hear what you are playing on your laptop. You also have the possibility to use external speakers if you want more volume and a better quality of the sound, maybe surround features or something similar.

So when your Gateway laptop has no audio don’t panic and try first the basics before jumping to conclusions and thinking the sound card or the motherboard need to be replaced. Just remember that most of the times the computer performs all the tasks you assign for it, even if you did not meant them or you did it by mistake. So try to reinstall the drivers from the original disk and if this is corrupted, download them from the producer’s web site.

Only when you have done all these things and checked everything else and the sound is still not functioning, try another thing: play an audio file and attach some external speakers and if they don’t work either, it must be the sound card that is damaged. But if you don’t have a clue, my advice is to go to a specialist.
